Follows up on thinning trials conducted on rimu and silver pine in the 1960's in the Wanganui Forest to investigate long-term response of rimu and silver pine to silvicultural treatments. This study remeasures this trial and investigates the trees response to hardwood release and native podocarp thinning over time.
