- Drafts for early series of leaflets "Know your trees" (1963). Note that flowers of Freycinetia (kiekie) were very hard to find where possums were present, in central North Island and West Coast. Presumed that possums eat flowers (22.3.62), relevant to Maori interests. Correspondence on buried forest at Benneydale with rimu carbon date of 2150 years (1970-72). Kauri seedlings sent to Suva and planted in Botanical Gardens, 1966.
