- Locality plan. Thesis by P Wilcox 1985 (73pp, photos). Four different fertilisers applied at planting in 1977 on four different microsites on or near log extraction tracks, undisturbed, lightly or heavily disturbed. Chemical release attempted. Planting ,after partial logging to remove better rimu, in canopy gaps made by logging. Project record No.1803 (unpublished report) by Pardy and Wickens 1988, reports growth and survival. Response to fertiliser application not significant for management. Dissertation by Wilcox contains accounts and photos of insect damage to kahikatea and small growth response to fertilisers.
