- Contains a brief note for the 1960 Kauri Conference on 'Analysis of Height Increment of Planted Kauri in Whaitangi Endowment Forest (by R C Lloyd). It investigates the height increment of 36 kauri tree that were artificially established which shows that mean annual increment increases with the size of trees. Also a note on 'Kauri Research and Investigation in Kaikohe District' (by F T Morrison) which briefly discusses nursery practices in Waipoua Forest including seed collection, fertilizer application, tubing, soil blocks, root study, weed control and kauri planting and kauri tree breeding. There is no data records it just discusses trials that have taken place and their main conclusions.
