- Details from descriptive summary from 1992 Plot Review. Growth of 20 naturally regenerated kauri seedlings and saplings first measured by Foster (1925). Measured at intervals to 1986. Folder has several copies of Foster's 1951 report and a report by McKenzie and Cooper (1986) with a descriptive account; plot of historic interest owing to long period of measurement and earlier observations of growth flushes. (Terminal bud sometimes remained dormant for one or two years, slow and variable growth overall from natural regeneration established in forest clearing, 20% survival to 1936).

- General Note
- Many NZFS staff were interested in early established plot, including D & GA Entrican (presumably this is one person - A R Entrican) . This plot could probably be located. It was recorded as 'category A' plot (useful) in 1992 Plot Review.
