- Correspondence on Hunua thinning and fertiliser trial; refereeing paper by Barton and Madgwick; bare-rooted kauri production. Kauri sample plot review on fate of plots, future care and measurement of plots in forest controlled by DOC(following demise of NZFS and KMU in 1987). List of plots worth keeping. Copies of most correspondence on FRI Kauri file 28/5. Plots to be closed include Waipoua A3, A4 (Fosters) 356, 365, 470 - notes on file (KMU 28/2/0, Kaikohe). KMU sample plot sent to FRI (but held elsewhere). Transcript(?) of talk by George Pardy on "Indigenous trees of NZ and application for farm forestry purposes" (10.4.1986). Final entry is 11p original copy of report on Kauri seedling production (undated, no author, probably from Kauri Management Unit).
