Stapled, loose items include Register sheet and separate locality plan indicating where 2500 kauri seedlings ex-Waipoua were planted in 1949 beneath a thin canopy of unthrifty Pinus ponderosa and other exotic conifers. Information on site, diary notes on inspection and growth of 24 kauri in this plot are given, with a final summary report by Thames District Technician, R Mueller (15.1.76). The planted kauri were to be included in an "amenity zone".
