- Locality plan, register sheets for 3 sub-plots abandoned in 1973 after final measurement and note to R Lloyd (3.3.72). Out of 20 kauri planted in 1958 trees in two out of three plots failed and 4 kauri survived in one plot after 15 years, heights 4 - 8 ft. Seedlings were planted in deep pits on sand with scattered Pinus pinaster and manuka.
