Location plan. Plot was abandoned by the KMU in 1972 with agreement of FRI soil scientist, Don Mead, after analysis of kauri foliage showed short-term increases in N and P, but no impact on stem diameter increment. Final summary report (D McKenzie 1984 (received at FRI 1986), was included as an item in "Kauri Sample Plot Review" 1984. Assessed as Category C plot (not worth remeasuring) by Pardy and Herbert (1992). Eight different fertilisers were applied. Lack of growth response surprised. Variation in site factors suggested, cf results reported in Ian Barton's report on Hunua trial.
