- Location plan. Measurement data, progress reports for 5 years, re-measurements to 1983, for 2.4 ha pole kauri plot established in 1963 to determine response to thinning of pole stands. Register sheet, thin to 60-80 kauri and other indigenous conifers per 0.4 ha. Final entry in folder is an interim report entitled 'Heavy thinning of pole stand' by D. McKenzie, undated but c.1986. Data recorded for growth of thinned plot and control 1963-1983. Marked response of kauri in diameter growth and basal area. Site quality described as poor. Folder has about 20 loose sheets with measurement data for 1963-1998 (G Steward?). In same vertical file are six folders with measurement data for A336/6.
