- Covers areas of natural kauri distribution. Mainly measurement data for volume plots. Introduction by R Lloyd ((1970) on methods; notes on each sample plot or stand area, including Auckland Regional Authority plots and years of measurement. Includes both thinned and unthinned areas. State Forest sample plots include 173, 332, 336, 314, 315, 448, each of which has a descriptive summary with data record form. Data includes re-measurement from 1958-1978 in Great Barrier, Katikati, Russell and Whenuakite State Forests and ARA forest at Hunua. This volume also contains descriptive summaries of each plot; tables include summaries of volumes and increment in thinned and unthinned plots.
