Report on a preliminary study of beech species regeneration after logging in Golden Downs Forest (by Perry). It contains data on studies concerned with the effectiveness, density, ages, species distribution and growth rates of beech regeneration.There is a second report on regeneration studies of silver beech seedlings in areas S.A 197, Alton Valley, S.F. 53. It studies the behaviour of silver beech seedlings which germinated in the 1950/51 seed year (by Williams).
