It contains data on studies concerned with the effectiveness, density, ages, species distribution and growth rates of beech regeneration.There is a second report on regeneration studies of silver beech seedlings in areas S.A 197, Alton Valley, S.F. 53. It studies the behaviour of silver beech seedlings which germinated in the 1950/51 seed year (by Williams).
