- One folder is the office sample plot record with register sheet, locality plan, data for remeasurement in 1954, 1958 and 1962; also details of several hundred trees when plot established in 1950. First typed report is by Q Roberts, August 1950 on site of old Okarea Pa. Forest destroyed by fire early 19th century. Dense podocarp regeneration from 1890-1900, pole stand by 1950. Second folder contains data to 1979 (A. Katz), some plots thinned. Published paper by R Cameron, Project Record by Katz 1980 - copy in 3rd folder - field and compiled data with several aerial photos (1980). Katz report is IFM no. 24, February 1980. Register sheets for RO 221, 222 and 223. Eucalyptus delegatensis planted as nurse, 1950.

- General Note
- Valuable example of development of dense podocarp forest on old pa site following burning. Cameron's paper and Katz report annotated by Beveridge in Whirinaki Bibliography (DOC 2005). These podocarp pole stands (now 'young' trees) occurred over some 300 ha following old burning in scattered areas of Whirinaki. Visited by A E Beveridge and M Wilcox (notes in contract report). Emergent eucalypts have had their stems 'cleaned' by podocarp crowns - reversal of podocarp pole stands.
