- Contains aerial photos of Raetea Forest. Two reports, 13.3.78 (7pp text and graphs), containing tentative conclusions after 2 years. Also Cooper (August 1981) and comments by AE Beveridge. Result of field experiment in A619 included in summary from review of KMU trials (Pardy and Herbert 1992).

- General Note
- A new set of fertiliser trials was to be established in 1978 with FRI advice, for kauri planted on a range of sites. Field experiment continued as growth plot from 1978 when fertiliser trial terminated. Victoria Valley was a broadleaved sigte and one of best for growth of planted kauri.
