- Note on 'Raising of indigenous tree species' including notes on artificial establishment of rimu and the related techniques for collecting and handling seed, cleaning seeds, pre-sowing treatment of seed, sowing, lining-out, weedicides, conditioning, collecting and lining out of wildings and recommended planting techniques. These particular notes have been found also in two other files in the Dunedin Archives (CATM, 18286, D68, 165k, 28/10/2 and CATM, D67, 43d, 28/19/1). - There is a few brief letter discussing the proportions of male and female trees of a rimu study in Hinahina Forest.There is a photocopy of an article from the NZ Journal of Forestry (1931, volume 3, pp 68-70) written by Foweraker, C. E. on 'Sex Distribution in Rimu' concerned with Westland forest.
