- File contains periodic review and evaluaion of Auckland sample plots or experimental areas including kauri and many exotic species. Sections on kauri are tagged. An early review is by A McKinnon (11.9.41). In a review by Conservancy to FRI, dated 2.4.57, it was stated that 176 sample plots established before 1930 (mainly at Waipoua) had all been written off but a further 100 plots were established from 1930-1940.
