- Regeneration survey carried out in State Forest 26 which was logged in the 1950's to 1960's. Contains method of sampling, description of area and species stocking and density. The sampling data is contained with calculatd statistics (by A Beveridge).There are various notes and reports in this file relating to;1. Indigenous silviculture and the performance of planted podocarps2. Artificial establishment of rimu including seed collection, storage, stratification, planting techniques, sowing, weedicides, fertilisers and conditioning.3. Silviculture of red and silver beech and kahikatea (D A Franklin and A Beveridge). Includes management of natural regeneratio and artificial establishment. There are many cross references for these notes which are from published material in the NZ Journal of Forestry.
