- Location plan.Heavy thinning of 0.4 ha taraire poles. Data sheets for growth of taraire with some data for kauri, tawa, puriri, kohekohe, rewarewa, hinau, totara, tanekaha, rimu. Apparently for 1961-63 only. Final 2p report (1986? Undated) by D McKenzie and trial closed. Diameter increment for year for main species was recorded as 5mm for taraire and 8mm for kauri in 18-20cm diameter class. Object of SP912 was to assess the effect of heavy thinning on crown development of taraire.
