- Register sheet with plot location. Objective to determine response of taraire to thinning. Stand regenerated under large kanuka - three sub plots: control, heavy thinning, light thinning. One remeasurement 1971. Taraire/broadleaf stand. Measurement data notes by Ron Lloyd, with last on 25.10.72. Taraire in thinned plots have very healthy foliage - in contrast to control. Memo of 18.2.72 indicated significant diameter response of thinned taraire. Plot closed.
