- Contains research on four fertilizers (Magamp, Urea, Control and IBDU) and soil conditions (lightly disturbed, compacted, claggy and undisturbed) on height increment on planted Kahikatea seedlings in a partially loged forest in Horohoro State Forest. Insect damage was also assessed with the native Longhorn borer, Navomorpha lineata, causing most damage. Interactions between insect damage and fertilizer or insect damage and soil condition was assessed. However, there was no significant interaction reported.
