- Growth is very slow at a day/night regime of 11oC / 8.5oC but quite fast at 22oC / 16.5oC; higher temperatures may produce even better results. To obtain reasonable growth rates a regime of 17oC / 13oC would appear to be the minimum. However more study, involving a greater range of temperatures, and a variation of diurnal ranges is needed to substantiate this.
