Spring clip folder: copy of Register Sheet, indicating that 2 plots were established by C T Sando in 1936 and reported in March 1937 (report not in this folder). Originally a dense kauri pole stand. Second thinning by Lloyd (1957) with remeasurement. Remeasured 1963, 1974. Original plots called sample plots II and III. Map of crown position 1957 for numbered trees. Growth data for 3 re-measurements. Loose copy (8p text and appendices) of report for the 1957 kauri conference 'A review of silvicultural work - Herekino Forest, SF1' with data and comment on six plots established by Sando in 1936/37 (report: Lloyd 1957). Second folder has: 3 photo prints of thinned kauri plot called 'sample plot II'.
