MoF had examined proposals by TWC for sustainable management of 38,000 ha indigenous beech forest involving individual tree or small group selection by low impact helicopter harvesting.A review team has gone through the proposal and suggested recommendations for prescriptive and operational plans submitted by TWC.Expert advice is made to the proposal on harvest prescriptions, effects of implementation, inventory, monitoring, modelling, ecological sustainability and silvicultural system as to yield and stand sustainability.
