- Contains details of 1960 mature beech seedfall, during a mast year seed tray experimant with duration and pattern of seedfall and volume of seed. Has data records for seed collection andsurvival rate of resultant seedlings is calculated.Also a small section from November 1973 to December 1974 on experiment to examine the impact of ringbarking on red beech seed production. Has details of on each tree ringbarked (d.b.h, height, class, treatment - 100%, 75 to 80% ringbarking and a control. There is a workplan which contains the method.
