General Note
Valuable primary source for checking research on kauri wood properties. Could be useful for comparison of properties of second crop kauri (80-140 years) with faster grown planted trees. Thinning carried out by helicopter in Russell Forest. One entry lists age of one stand (fire-induced) as 80-140 yrs, and average annual ring width of tested poles as 1.95mm (in crowded stands?).
